Welcome to WikiComponents
The worlds first and only truly open source for 2D and 3D PCB component package, part and electrical device data!
WikiComponents creates accurate 3D package models in multiple formats.

What is WikiComponents?

WikiComponents is an innovative site for creating, managing and sharing component part and package data for electronics design, manufacturing and maintenance. Based on the popular "Wiki" concept, users can build up their own part libraries and share them freely with hundreds of thousands of users around the world.

Who Uses WikiComponents?

Anyone involved in the design, planning, manufacture, assembly, ordering or distribution of electronic products can benefit greatly from WikiComponents. With the easy-to-use component generator, you can define data in a fraction of the time ordinarily required. And because WikiComponents has a large open source database of component data - and it’s growing daily - chances are high that the component you’re looking for has already been created.

WikiComponents is the only software-independent supplier of 2D and 3D component library data in our industry. Our data is never encrypted and there is no restriction on how you use it. It is truly the world’s data.
Creating new packages is as easy as entering parametric data into a table.

How does it work?

WikiComponents is free of charge. Simply use either the Quick Search or the advanced search routines to find the required part. Or load a Bill-of-Materials (BOM) to find all parts for a given project. If you can’t find exactly what you’re looking for, use the intuitive Component Generator to create one on your own. You can download the data into several different formats for further use in documentation, PCB design, mechanical design, DFM analysis or many other tasks. Once finished, you can publish the component data for use by other members. With a low-cost yearly subscription you can use advanced functions and tools such as organizing your own teams.

Share your expertise and your experience!

We hope you find using WikiComponents to be pleasurable and rewarding and an investment which provides you tremendous value. The community absolutely values the expertise which the members provide by way of their contributions. And we value any feedback you can provide so we can continually improve WikiComponents to meet the needs of our industry.
